Stargazing
night.
Learn your way around the constellations, then take your turn at the telescope. Your guide chooses the night’s clearest targets and explains each view. Just bring your curiosity.

Choose this nightFind your way among the stars
Begin with a few bright stars and build the picture around them. Follow these constellations through our sky story; on your evening, your guide chooses the patterns the season brings into view.
Orion — begin with the belt
Three stars in a row, and the sky begins to take shape. Orion’s belt is a simple place to start. Follow the bright stars, then look below them for the soft glow of a stellar nursery.
Gemini — meet Castor and Pollux
Two lights, keeping company. Castor and Pollux mark Gemini; find them once and they begin to feel familiar. Your guide helps you trace the shape around them, a small piece of the sky to take home.
Leo — trace the lion
A curve of stars becomes a lion. Follow the backwards question mark down to Regulus, then let your eyes find the rest. What seemed scattered a moment ago becomes a pattern you can recognise again.
Virgo — follow Spica
Spica is our bright signpost. Beyond Virgo’s foreground stars, distant galaxies send their faint light across the dark. A telescope, patient eyes and a clear night can bring a little of that distance into view.
Scorpius — find the glow of Antares
The night turns, and another figure rises. Find the warm glow of Antares, then follow the scorpion’s curve towards the richer star fields of the Milky Way. Some sights are worth staying a little longer for.
Look closer through the telescope
Let the patterns fall away for a moment. There is a whole sky around them. Then take your turn at the telescope: a faint patch may resolve into individual stars, and a quiet point of light becomes something worth looking at twice.
Coma Berenices — a gathering of stars
A loose gathering of stars, held in one wide view. Coma Berenices rewards a slower look. When you step away from the eyepiece, the sky is still the same—but your eyes know a little more of it.
Before you go.
A guided constellation tour followed by telescope views, with plenty of time for questions. Bring closed shoes, a warm layer and water. No equipment or previous astronomy knowledge needed.
Will I see the Milky Way?
Its visibility depends on the season, moonlight and conditions. Tell us if it is a priority when you enquire so we can consider your dates.
Will it look like a photograph?
An eyepiece view is subtler than a long-exposure image. Faint objects show less colour and detail; your guide helps you recognise what you are seeing.
How do I book?
Choose a departure and send a request. We reply within one working day with availability, the final price and meeting details. Your places are reserved only after we confirm your booking.
Book your evening
under the stars.
Let the island grow quiet around you. Find your first constellation, linger at the telescope and leave with a few familiar lights to look for wherever you go next.
Pick a Stargazing departure and tell us who’s coming. Your guide brings the telescope and helps you find your way; you bring a warm layer and a little curiosity. We’ll confirm your places and meeting details by reply.
